This is after the Director of Public Prosecutions in a letter dated April 5, 2024, advised that the second to the seven respondents be witnesses in the case. In the same letter, the DPP charged the first respondent Allan Ochieng’ with the murder.
In a ruling on Monday, the court stated that Mwenda and five co-accused including three police officers shall be made state witnesses.
